Grades K – 5 (Elementary)
Students in elementary attend Daily Mass to start their day. Each class assists with Mass throughout the school year. Following Mass, students head back to their classrooms to take on subjects such as math, reading, science, religion, Latin, music, and art. Recess and lunch help break up the day and give the students a chance to interact outside the classroom.
Students in 2nd grade prepare to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion throughout the school year. The sacrament of Confirmation is available to students in grades 5th and 6th every other year. Students in 5th and 6th grade during the 2018-2019 school year will prepare to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
Grades 6 – 8 (Middle School)
As with students in the lower grade levels, students in middle school attend daily mass and assist with Mass preparations throughout the school year. Following Mass, middle school students take the same core classes as the elementary students. These students are introduced to a rotation style mixture of middle school teachers to help prepare them for the class structure of high school.

Honor Roll, Principal’s List, Kingdom Builder
Students in grades 4 through 8 are eligible to be on the Honor Roll. The Honor Roll includes students who maintain a B or higher in each of their classes: religion, reading, English, math, science, social studies, art, music, Latin, and PE. Students who maintain at least an A in each of those classes will be included on the Principal’s List.
Each quarter, a Kingdom Builder award is awarded to one student in each homeroom class. This award is given to individuals who go above and beyond the expectations for behavior and kindness in the classroom.
Sacred Heart Catholic School strives to help prepare students for high school and beyond as they embrace and develop the unique gifts God as given them each individually.
