Students of Sacred Heart Catholic School have many opportunities and are encourages to take part in numerous activities throughout the school year. Check out the fun and enjoyment these students have had during their adventures.
Students Attend Heritage School
Students in fourth grade made their annual visit to the heritage school where they learned more about the lives of a typical pioneer student and shared some of the experiences students from the past may have had.
Students Visit Vala’s Pumpkin Patch
Students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 8th grade visit the pumpkin patch every 3 years. While at the pumpkin patch, they were able to explore and check out the activities throughout the day. At the end of the day, each student was able to pick out a pumpkin to take home to their families as they shared stories of the day’s adventures with their loved ones.

Fourth Grade Field Trip
The 4th grade students had the opportunity to visit the Nebraska History Museum and the State Capitol.
Catholic Schools Week
Various activities took place during Catholic Schools Week including Academic Adventure Night, a trip to the Children’s Museum, bowling and more!
Christmas Program 2017
Preschool through fourth grade students preformed the Christmas Cantata, A Long, Long Way to Bethlehem. The program was created by Stephen Andrews and Gregg Sewell and directed by Ms. Amanda Lowery, Sacred Heart Fine Arts teacher.
